Fisher Cats Game Preview: 5/13 vs. Binghamton Mets

by Patrick Cavanaugh

MANCHESTER, N.H. – The New Hampshire Fisher Cats look to close out the final game of their four-game series on a good note with the Binghamton Mets on Mother’s Day.

“We would love a win today,” said Fisher Cats Manager Sal Fasano. “That is the most important thing right now.”

Randy Boone (0-1, 16.62), gets the nod for the Fishers on this beautiful Mother’s Day in Manchester. Today’s game is Boone’s first home start of the year after he made his season debut earlier this week on Monday when he gave up right runs, on ten hits. He gave up three home-runs, and had one strikeout. He is opposed by RHP Greg Peavey (2-1, 4.85).

“Hopefully we see a little more cleaner delivery from Randy today,” said Fasano.

Well, it is just about game-time, and we have a packed house at Northeast Delta Dental Stadium. For live updates during the game you can follow @pcava12 and @BSU18Baseball on Twitter.
